New Canaan Colonial House and Barn Sanctuary

This existing 7000sq’ colonial house was purchased by my client and they wanted a modern house with detached Barn to rescue animals for their nonprofit, and they got both! We started in the main house by doing a complete gut renovation including all new electrical and Av smart system.

 

The Crestron system makes this colonial fully automated. We added a new kitchen, master suite home office, all new interior trim and doors etc. Once they were moved in and settled, we started on the barn. The 3500sq’ barn is fully automated with a Crestron system, motorized ladders and hay loft winces, radiant floor heat and automatic watering bowls.

 

These animals get a second chance in life and it’s a life of luxury.
